Andy and Sarah Zeller are the owners of Old Mill RC Raceway and SC1RC, two organizations built around a shared passion for racing, family, and community.
Their journey into RC racing began four years ago when they opened their first dirt oval RC track in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, the very same location where they were married. What started as a hobby quickly grew into something much bigger, bringing together racers, families, and friends from across the region.
For Andy, racing has always been a part of life. Long before RC cars entered the picture, he was immersed in the world of dirt track racing. From attending races at Lincoln Speedway as a child in diapers to cheering on local legends and following the World of Outlaws and All-Star Circuit of Champions, dirt racing became a lifelong passion. That love for full-scale racing continues to influence the way Old Mill RC Raceway operates today.
After successfully running their first RC facility for two years, the property was sold, forcing the Zellers to search for a new home. They found an existing track at Deer Run Campground, where they continued operations for another season. Following the conclusion of the 2025 racing season, Andy and Sarah set out to build what they envisioned as their permanent home for RC racing.
That vision became Old Mill RC Raceway.
With the support and encouragement of the Sheaffer family, Old Mill was born and quickly developed into one of the premier outdoor dirt oval RC facilities in the region. Throughout every move and every new chapter, Andy and Sarah have remained committed to creating a family-oriented racing community where fun, friendship, and sportsmanship come first.
Their racing program reflects the traditions of the full-scale dirt racing world. From race-day procedures and event formats to championship programs and special events, they strive to provide racers with an experience that mirrors the excitement and professionalism found at tracks throughout the area.
In the winter of 2025, Andy and Sarah expanded into another exciting form of RC competition by launching SC1RC racing. Featuring realistic 1/18-scale race cars, SC1RC delivers close, competitive racing while remaining one of the most affordable classes in the RC hobby. To support the growing community, they transformed part of their tattoo shop basement into an indoor track where racers could gather during the off-season months.
What began as small winter get-togethers has grown into an exciting opportunity. In 2027, SC1RC will be featured at the Racing Xtravaganza, one of the region’s premier racing shows. The goal is simple: introduce more racers and racing fans to the excitement, accessibility, and realism of small-scale RC competition.
This opportunity would not be possible without the support of many dedicated friends and family members, including Sarah and Andy Zeller, the Loy family, the Stonebraker family, the Gallagher family, and countless others who have helped build the community over the years.
As they continue to grow Old Mill RC Raceway and SC1RC, Andy and Sarah remain focused on the same mission they started with four years ago: bringing people together through racing, creating lasting memories, and making every event a fun and welcoming experience for racers of all ages.
They look forward to making the first Racing Xtravaganza SC1RC event a memorable one and continuing to grow the racing family for years to come.
